Children are Home Alone?

Today, even in families with two parents, both parents often work. Consequently, many children regularly spend time at home without adult supervision. In addition, parents have long faced the challenge of working and looking after young children alone.
Simple answers do not exist. After-school care is difficult to find. (It is almost impossible to find in most rural areas.) If available, it is very expensive. This means that most of us have really no choice, away from our children in times when we may need.
Some reports refer to "Self-Care for Children. This term must interpret the lack of required parental home (under construction) to choose. Obviously, it is generally not a choice, and self-care is not always a good alternative.
On the other hand, many if not most, children 11 years or more, depending on the school can handle. If the areas in which they live are not dangerous, and if parents make plans, "self" may be a good experience. Children can learn through a series of principles protected by being responsible for themselves.
Perhaps it is the real question is: "When alone at home acceptable?"
Things to consider:
• Is your neighbourhood safe?
• Willingness to help a neighbour in distress?
• Can your children in contact with you when you need it?
• Do you need the cooperation of your employer? Why?
• What are the basic rules for your children should follow when home alone?
Depending on the situation is similar and what your children, the rules vary. The idea is that parents and children understand what to expect, as one expected, and what to do if the unexpected occurs.
In general, however, consider making rules:
• Visits to friends,
• the use of television,
• Completion of homework
• answer the door or telephone
• Visit Outdoor
• Use of equipment and
• Dealing with conflicts between brothers and sisters.
The rules may not apply to all situations, and it is therefore important that children know how to contact you at work.
